A google search can assist with this, but it comes down to two major design choices: Gable Entrance or Side Entrance

Temporary Structure

We have to concede the fact that for the most part these are sheds. Why? Because when you are looking to buy one that’s the information you are looking to get from your city or county planning department. There are a lot of diverse structures that are more commonly referred to as temporary structures, a shed being one of them. The benefit of being a shed is there isn’t a permit process for them and your land taxes typically don’t go up because of it. Finding out what things are permitted for a shed to have is essential to know. This will tell you your square footage allowed, height and if you're allowed anything beyond electrical.

Portable

Like all sheds these have skids installed, so they are made to be delivered and placed where ever you would put any other shed. Whether you put it on a gravel or concrete slab, or raised in the air on blocking or other concrete supports is up to your need.

Beyond Portable

For those looking for something even more portable. These also can be built on a tiny home trailer frame. These are custom made trailers designed and built for the extra weight of a full log structure. They remove the need for wood floor joists and can be made with removable axles and tongue with up to an r-40 in the floor cavity. The two main reasons for building it on a custom built tiny home trailer frame is if you don’t want it placed permanently yet you still want the benefit of its use. For example your family member owns land, you are planning on buying some land of your own in the future, but for now it can be placed and used there. The other main reason is for those looking for a log cabin tiny home and for their needs these can be built longer as well.

Modular Add-ons

Based on your city or county shed bylaw allowance as well as your desired usage we offer modular add-ons. For example if a county allows for a 200 sqft shed and allow multiple sheds, then they may allow a 200 sqft cabin with an add-on up to 200 sqft to be placed side by side. These are two independent structures placed up next to each other. This means they don’t share a common support wall.
